About Us

Our names are Tammy Sutherland and Shannon Temple.  We are two middle school language arts teachers in South Carolina. Tammy has been teaching for fourteen years.  She has taught first grade, fourth grade, special education, eighth grade social studies, and seventh grade language arts.  Shannon has been teaching for nine years and has taught both seventh grade language arts and English I. Tammy earned her MEd in education, and Shannon earned her MAT in English.  We have both earned national board certification.  

 We currently teach seventh grade language arts and work together to plan for our students.  We developed all of the books that we sell out of a need in our own classrooms.  We begin each day with Daily Dose and A Standard Start, and we use our other materials throughout the year.   Our books are used in many schools across our state and in other states as well.  If you would like to contact us, you may send us an email.
